The recipe calls for certain nuts but use whatever you like, just mix it up. We make this at the holidays and for dinner parties and it is always a big hit.
Ingredients:
1-cup raw almonds
1-cup raw cashews
1-cup walnuts
Either leave them whole or use them in pieces.
Avocado oil
Butter- ½ stick – totally optional but don’t be afraid to use it occasionally
½ teaspoonful cayenne pepper
Sea salt
3-4 teaspoonfuls fresh rosemary – stem removed-chopped
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Place all nuts in a mixing bowl and coat lightly with avocado oil.
Add melted butter if using and mix well
Add salt to taste, pepper if desired, cayenne and rosemary.
Mix well
Spread on un-greased cookie sheet
Bake 12-15 minutes. Turn nuts.
Bake until you smell them –usually another 3-5 minutes. Once you smell them they are mostly done. Be careful- once you smell them it is a quick step to burning them.
Let Cool and feast!
